We have recently learned that the Water Security Agency is undertaking a project to divert Kutawagan Lake into Quill Lake.

This would divert tens of thousands of cubic meters of saltwater into our already-overloaded Qu'Appelle river chain. Seeing the environmental problems similar projects at Devil's Lake and Lake Lenore have caused, we believe this is very ill-advised. About The Committee

Since 2011, lake levels at Crooked Lake and Round Lake have increased to previously unknown levels. This has resulted in severe flooding and property damage. The Committee was formed by citizens living in the area, to work with various groups and government organizations to try and find better solutions to the flooding.

This site is a collection of information on the 2011 Flood, 2013 Flood, and 2014 Flood, documents committee Meetings, and hosts other media related to the flood situation such as Image Galleries.
