Beginning in 2011, lake levels at Crooked Lake and Round Lake has began flooding to previously unknown and unpredictable levels without warning. This has swamped homes, ruined property, and hurt tourism. The Committee was formed by citizens living in the area, to help deal with the effects and find better solutions.
